Tembelani Gayiya, Business Analyst Learner, Saratoga

Tembelani Gayiya is also known as “ST” or “T” and although he is a friendly person, he refers to himself as ‘a man of few words’! Born in Port Elizabeth, he grew up in a small village called Peddie in the Eastern Cape. He has two sisters and one brother.

He obtained his Baccalaureus Technologiae (BTECH) at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) in Cape Town. It is at this particular Institution where his mind was trained to be innovative, and it is where he was also involved in different roles of student leadership. Tembelani became exposed to people from different backgrounds with different beliefs and values. He enjoyed the challenge of leading small project groups, representing students in such a way as to promote harmony, cooperation, defuse tension and conflict. Most importantly this is where he fell in love with Business Analysis as a career.

Tembelani enjoys going out and partying with friends. He loves his sport, especially cricket and rugby and also enjoys seeing people smile.
